Four Adult Literacy and Basic Education tutors attended an Erasmus + mobility on ‘Teaching Active Employability Skills’ in Belfast from the 3rd – 7th August 2015. Loreto Weir, Annette Lagan, Peter Keane and Jasmin Stollard attended the mobility which focussed on:
- Preparing learners for the workplace through an understanding of employers needs
- Supporting learners in adapting behaviours and attitudes to suit the job market and progress in the workplace
- Exploring activities that promote experiential learning and creativity directly and indirectly related to the workplace
- Producing resources to support employability learning
